I have been doing a great amount of research in this past while...trying to figure out why some people manage to do very well with Internet marketing and why some people never seem to be able to get things off the ground.
It is apparent that there are ways to ensure failure. Yes you heard right, there are methods that people use to ensure that they do not succeed and they work almost every time. Oh I'm sure that the odd person slips through the cracks and manages to succeed somehow, but it certainly isn't from the lack of trying.
I have been able to pinpoint a few of the best ways to ensure failure and am happy to share this with you. You can choose to use them or not - your decision.
1. Get distracted from your goal: You betcha, how many times has this happened to you? You are searching for advertisers and you see one that promises to send a ton of traffic your way, so you click on the link provided and that takes you to a web page that has offers "only for you" so you get curious and you click on an offer and that takes you to a sign up page which seems like a good thing to do at the time, so you sign up for free and that takes you to another page that has a "one time offer" and you can "never" see that page again and you don't want to pay so you close that and carry on to the first deal, which turns out to be extra spam in your email instead of the useful deal you were promised...and you never do get your ad in.
So you just wasted a whole bunch of your time that you had planned on using to promote your site and ended up in a viral mailing list for all your trouble. Yes, it is a good way to start on your path of failure, continue with the lack of focus
2. Too many time consuming promotions: It is another way to divvy up your focus, have twenty different websites to promote and promote them all separately. This will eat up tons of your precious time that you will never get back again. Make sure you submit each URL one by one and write each advertisement lovingly, word for word. Don't create a blog or website that has all of your opportunities on it and only have to promote one thing...oh no, don't do that.
3. Copy everybody else's stuff: That is such an original idea. There just doesn't seem to be enough "cookie cutter" companies out there to follow along in. How come everybody didn't think of that? Who needs originality in an World Wide Web where only the names are a little different? Cut, Copy, and Paste...that's all you need to do. After all, that is what everybody else is doing. Right?
I mean if somebody were to try something
unique out there, and then call it different, say like a different approach and didn't have 100 000 marketers out there spamming and trying to make it sell, how would that work?
4. Spam everybody you know: Spam the forums, spam your family, spam your friends...spam, spam, spam. This will ensure that those who know you wish they didn't, and those who don't, make sure they won't.
5. Expect things to happen for you: What a good plan, you sit back, do nothing and the universe just opens up to drop everything you have ever dreamed of, right in your lap. "Just one click of the mouse could have you making $1 000's every week". You are an executive in your own company now...let everybody else do the work for you - it's all
automatic. 6. Believe everything you read: "This
system is so simple, anybody can do it, free of charge, no hidden costs, no obligation,
Guaranteed or your money refunded right away. We want you to succeed". Never read the fine print either - you just won't believe it.
7. Forget logic and reason: You don't need them when you are about to become an Internet millionaire. Those things are not going to help you win over the masses and make you rich. Just keep on emptying out that bank account and buying up all those "tools" that will do all the work for you, because they are part of a "one time offer at this low, low price". It's the
smart thing to do, right?
8. Give up: Now what a novel idea that is. When things just don't go your way, or when it takes too long to create the piles of money you should have been receiving after the first two weeks, you should just
give up. Persistence and consistency just never pay off, so the best thing to do if it doesn't seem to be working on a grand scale as you planned, is give up.
9. Don't follow up: You know, when somebody is genuinely interested in whatever it is you are offering, and you say you'll call them back but you get too busy or wrapped up in all those "great" deals, or you think that they will call you back because it is more important to them than you? Don't worry about it, I'm absolutely sure you'll have a ton of leads once your advertising kicks in and the masses start hounding you at your site.
10. Do not believe in your product: It just isn't something you use yourself but it is good enough for everybody else. Why should you? You are just the middle man...there certainly is no need to
really believe in it, the ads sound real enough - who's gonna know?
If you try really hard and apply the above methods, I can pretty much guarantee that you will fail miserably at any company that is lucky enough to have you affiliated with them. So don't procrastinate, get going on this today, this opportunity won't be here for long before it's sold out.
